Ameature lifter looking for an Advanced diet

    My current stats are:

    Age: 24
    Height: 6'3''
    Weight: 227lbs
    Waist size: 36 inch
    Body fat%: around 14 - 15%

Alright so to start off Hi. I've been a member for quiet some time but never really post. I just lurk the forums and try to find answers to most of my questions through other threads that have already been answered.
I've been lifting for about 6 years now, but the last 3 have been very intense training. The reason i'm posting this thread is to get advice about my diet for my specific goals i'm trying to reach. I'll be posting up a SAMPLE diet followed by my working routine.

    8 am BREAKFAST

    4 eggs ( 2 whites, 2 whole)
    1/2 cup oatmeal (quick oats)
    1 banana
1 tble spoon of peanut butter

    1030 am SNACK

assorted fruit (grapes, banana, apple, or orange)
(I'll have 2 of the above fruits in a small portion)
1 hand full of assorted nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts, and pisachios)

    1230 pm LUNCH

    6oz chicken breast
2 pieces of whole wheat bread
1 hand full of assorted nuts

    4 pm SNACK

    Piece of fruit
    OR
    1/2 cup oats (quick oats)
    1 can of tuna

    7 pm WORKOUT

    9 pm Post workout shake

    ON whey protein 2 scoops
    1/2 cup oats

Thats about it for a sample at least. Minor tweeks here and there to adjust every day so it doesnt get boring.

My goal right now is to put on a little lean mass, but mainly cut. In the past i've put on big time gains in the gym with bulk diet and the help of some minor prohormones so i'm new to the cutting diet scene. I'm not too worried about my strength going too far down but mostly about my overall appearance. I don't want to sound corny but i'm trying to achieve the look of the spartan in the 300 movie
I've got the muscle from the gains before, Its just time for me to slowly cut off the fat.

My workouts consist of different intensity of workouts from week to week

I'll do high rep 90 second rest for about 2 weeks straight

then i'll switch it up and do 1 week of low weight 3 1/2 - 4 min rest.. just to kind of shock my muscles.

    Monday - chest abs
    Tuesday - shoulders tri
    wednesday - back bi's abs
    thursday - off
    friday - legs abs
    saturday - cardio abs
    sunday - off

So far so good.. but i'd like to have an kind of input.. your opinions are greatly appreciated.

as for macro's and all that crap i'm not too sure of it. But if its needed to help out i'll figure it out.

I work in an office and sit infront of a computer all day (9 - 6) so take into account that i'm not very active throughout the day.

Any suggestions like: wakeing up and working out before work? workout before and after work? certain tweeks in my diet to help me achieve my goal? different workout routine?

    Let me know thanks!

it means i dont want to do all that stupid math and shit just to get someone's honest opinon.. i mean its not that huge of a diet and its not like im 500lbs.. i'm just the average size person and my diet is very stereotypical for someone who is tryin to lose weight.. but i just want a couple opinions of others of what they would do or change if they were in my position with my type of goals in mind.

well, if you cant take the time to do what i need then im sorry i cant take the time to help you out..

theres a reason why i made that sticky.. i want to optimize diets to the best of my ability..

i cant tell you what you need without knowing well.. what you need based upon your calorie needs and what your intake is...

but if you want my opinion on your diet alone.. it's horrible..

i know women on this forum who are half your size and eat more then that...

but since you've got a lazy attitude i'll let you figure out the rest..

it takes alot to annoy me... well done

    good luck

if you want opinions then maybe giving us the information we need to give those opinions would help, you should be more respectful of people that are taking time from their day to help you at no cost to you

Then why did you title the thread "Ameature lifter looking for an Advanced diet"?

Was someone supposed to do 'all that stupid math and shit' for you?

I took the time and did the math and jamyjamjr's taking his time to help.

You should consider yourself lucky that there is people like him who will save you time and mistakes by sharing his knowledge.

Hope your training isnt done with the same effort.......hahaha...
