oats cooked in ff milk?
Is oats cooked in milk ok on a "healthy lifestyle" diet?
The reason Im asking is that my dad was eating oats cooked in skim milk this morning, which looked great. But I advised him to rather cook them in boiling water (because I know that is what most people here do), he asked me for what reason is oats cooked in milk not good.. and I couldn't answer him.

to be honest with you, if he is not bodybuilding and not dieting and counting his calories.
but just eating the healthy way, cooking oats with skim milk is not a problem.
now for us on other hand we would rather save those calories for something a lot more beneficial and better than skim milk.
for example egg whites, nuts, banana or something.
if he asked why well for us we do count calories and skim milk is full of sugar is 1 reason.
