Not enough Calories
im 21 5'5 153lbs and i am very low in bodyfat, here my problem im a marine i just got back from my 2nd combat deployment both deployment i lost alot of weight but i seem to be pretty solid now i have a goal to gain about 20 lbs but my diet lacks in almost all ways but ill tell ya what i do and id def love some feedback,
i try and take in 225 grams of protein a day i use whey and casin also for calories i take Mass XXX i try to get about 2 shakes a day so i think thats around 1980 calories just on mass XXX alone, i have a hard time eating because storing food is the pain because of all the training and moving around im also taking a multi vit pack and plasmajet by Gaspari
any advice on what i should be doing i know the whole 8 meals a day is good but hard, i try and replace all them with 25 grams of protein at a time
Thanks Cody

Thank you for serving our country .
Not sure how to advise in your situation .
Eat the best you can and make it home in one piece .
Good luck !

The bottom line is consuming more calories then you burn, this equals muscle growth assuming the food is high quality. <----If it is impossible for you to do this, bodybuilding is not for you...or gaining 20 pounds in that matter.
Now if you're sincere, YOU WILL IMPROVISE and find alternative methods for obtaining adequate food.
I use to use you're same excuse.

Also, weight gainer shakes are BS when opposed to whole foods but if used intelligently, can ASSIST in your process. Keep consumption moderate.

Your excuse was that you were in the marines training. LOl I think not. I think that was too harsh. I know how much the marines have access too (nothing).
post up what you have access too.
buy these things:
peanut butter or almond butter (natural stuff)
oatmeal (no the sugar stuff, real oats to put in a protein shake)
egg white protein powder
casein protein or protein with whey and casein etc.
You can make shakes out of this that should work to keep you out of catabolism.
things you should also have:
jerky (of all kinds)
peanuts
veggies you can eat raw
You need to eat food and throw away that gainer shit. It is not gonna work. Make your gainers with the stuff above. tell me what you have access to and I can help
