I hate cottage cheese. What's your guys way to eat it? I am not too concerned about calories/carbs. Just taste.

I hate it too - but I eat the fat free cottage cheese with pineapple (already in there) and it basically tastes like pineapple - makes it MUCH easier for me!

I hear ya bro I hate the texture of cottage cheese too! Here is how I get around it w/ my bedtime shake:
1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese
1 scoop ON Casein (chocolate)
2 tbl spoon natty pb
dash of cinnamon
1 cup of water
a few ice cubes
Blend all of these up really good and you have an awesome before bed shake. I know what you're thinking "I bet that taste like $hit", but seriously give it a shot you will be surprised! Note: you might have to play around with how much water you add to get the right consistency.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but is cottage cheese really so good for ypu that even the guys who hate it are finding ways to eat it?
I used to eat it as a kid and really liked it... Is it something I should start eating again?

I go with the..
I have been using the splenda and vanilla extract (couple drops) I think it tastes like cheese cake like stated above. It is perfect for my sweet tooth during the holidays. I am now looking for a way to make it taste like eggnog or something of the sort to keep the holidays more happy and not seem like I am on a diet. Anyone know of a way to make cottage cheese taste like a good christmas drink, or have a substitute?

you don't have to eat cottage cheese... it's not like it is chicken or eggs. You don't really have to eat things you don't like, there are ways around it.

See i love cottage cheese, before dieting i used to put sugar free jam in mine, or in the morning i used to mix it with shredded wheat or granola....instead of using milk.
Now i eat in plain.....love it!! Im going to try that shake though, Would it be ok if i use whey isolate at night before bed though?
I know some people use it in their salads instead of dressing also.

Just do top's suggestion man, it's very good. I actually do the exact same, but i add some lemon zest and put it in my ice-cream maker (yes, I own an ice-cream maker from my chubby day). It's honestly as good as I remember ice cream to be. Just don't skimp on the blending process, let it go for 3-5 mins at least and scrape the sides periodically.

Just like most of the food I cant stand, I just shovel it in my mouth and down it with water. Can eat two cans of tuna in about 30 seconds this way!
