After gym food
So after the gym I drink my PWO. the issue is that I have class for 3 hours after. Any ideas of what type of food I could pack with me until my chicken and broccoli at 9pm?

can of salon, it taste good and has 39 grams of protein, I eat it every day. or can of tuna if you can stomach it. you can also make prepare a chicken, turkey or tuna sandwich and put it in a Ziploc bag, its recommended to eat your real food one hour after your PWO...

I hope you shower...
also the possibilities are endless.
Honestly I do this every morning (not the best diet advice is soon to follow):
I go to subway, get a foot long multi grain bread sandwich with every type of meat they have, add spinach and tomato. I eat half at a time and it lasts me 3-4 hours.

simple fix. Just eat a whole food meal PWO and then go to class for 3 hrs. Eat again after class, problem solved. I'm not sure when everyone got it in their heads that PWO meal has to be a protein shake with dextrose but some of you guys are giving yourself headaches over nothing. I may bring a protein bar with me in case of emergencies, but please dont pull out your tupperware and just start eating during class because it sends the wrong signals. Your there to learn, not eat. I used to be the guy eating tuna fish during class and pissing people off, maybe people didn't take me seriously for a reason?

I dont really care what people think, nvr so you cant eat and learn at the same time? Maybe you might need to take a class in multi tasking. just joking.
I agree whole foods are a better option on off days

i know what your saying, and I never used to care what people thought anyways. Until somebody else got the promotion I wanted when they took him more serious than me. Until people tried talking down to me like I was some musclebound dumbass, in the real world size dont mean shit and if you touch someone they'll sue your ass. And yeah, people have the balls to say shit to the big guy because they know that.
The point I'm making is we can all act like we dont give a shit about what people think. But sooner or later if you want to get anywhere in life you kind of need to give a shit. When your an attorney are you going to pull out a container of food in front of a client and just start eating? When your a Dr. are you going to pull out food in the middle of performing surgery? When your a teacher are you going to eat a protein bar in the middle of teaching a lesson? Probably not, but you could go be a blue collar guy getting paid jack shit somewhere and do it, if you have enough money to still eat

You must care what people think, However I eat in class everyday, and every class. I have a 4.0 and everyone takes me seriously. It is all about how you hold yourself. twinkies and soda is one thing, pasta is another.

not really, all I'm trying to say is make bodybuilding conform to school/work, not the other way around. Bodybuilders get too extreme thats what I think. No reason he couldn't eat a whole food meal, go to class, and eat 3 hrs later. Or 4 hrs later, not that big of a deal. Hell, he'd probably grow more

This might be the best quote and most rationale thought I have seen posted all year. Trust me, these people who you think are respecting your dedication are more than likely shaking their head when you are not looking. I live this lifestyle 100% but I always aim to be discreet and respectful about. If I am in a class I will wait an extra 15 minutes and slam by meal down out in my vehicle instead of eating my "obscure" food in front of everyone. I dont announce I am dieting to people, I stay covered up, I dont have a gallon of water in hand everywhere I go. I could go on and on about this but I guess I should stop here as I have hijacked this thread enough already.
