    How much do i need

    ok just a quick question i weigh 70kgs i think thats 140 pounds so how much grams of protein should i be aiming for eachday any response would be appreciated thanks

    1 gram/lb of body weight for healthy living. 1.5grams/lb of bodyweight for athletes. 2 grams/lb of body weight for bodybuilding.

    You weigh about 154 lbs. So if your trying to bulk then you need about 230-300 grams per day.

    If you are trying to bulk, fats and carbs are going to be just as important if not more so than your protein intake.

    x2! Don't let people tell you that you need as much as 2g per lb. of body weight. 1.5g is always gonna be enough, especially since most people's LBM is well below their actual weight.
