PWO macro question
I am wondering what is recommended for pwo #'s. Currently I have been doing 50g dex/26g whey. I know everyone recomends 2 to 1 ratio. And obviously whatever the pwo #'s they need to account into total daily macros. Just wondering, should I up the pw0 meal, say 80dex/40whey, more/less, whats the rule of thumb for proper and optimal pwo macros.

I think 50g of carbs is fine, others will tell you more is better. I would up the whey however.

Thanks for the response. So you would up the whey and keep carb at 50, and not do 2 to 1 ratio? Little confused on this. Thanks.

I am not currently at my computer but I do have a good article I saw on this forum saved for you when I do get home. It debunks the importance of a 2:1 ratio. Get your protein in, at least 40g. Get your carbs in, at least 40g. Don't eat disproportionate to your daily needs based on the myth of a 2:1 ratio being ultimately important.

^^ agreed 100%. I said to get the protein higher because it's just too low in general, for anybody, IMO. I think the carbs are fine at 50g and I see no real benefit to a 2:1
