Black rice instead of brown rice?
Thoughts on using it as a viable replacement? yes/no?
Curious if it has the same (or better) properties than brown rice. Couldn't find anything on this.

Brown rice are more nutritious and healthy than enriched white rice. When the grain is refined, you lose the fiber, magnesium, vitamin E and B-6, copper, zinc and phytochemicals that are in the whole grain.

Excellent. I was looking for a switch-up from the usual brown rice, oatmeal, and/or sweet potato.

Everyone forgets about lentils, beans, ezekiel bread and ezekiel pasta. Foods for life makes a sprouted grain pasta that will blow you away. There's also a mung bean/pinto bean pasta out there that has more protein and fiber per serving than carbs! It can be eaten in much larger quantities.
