Oh no, I made a mistake, I forgot a step when I did my BMR.
My TDEE is around 3800.
I'll have to review this diet.Last edited by ReX357; 09-13-2010 at 01:22 PM.

There is something I do not understand.
How can be your BMR 3800 Kcal?
What are your stats?
Perhaps you meant TDEE?

What are your goals? Maintain? because if you are trying to do anything other than that you will need to make changes.
also I would recommend using light mayo. I don't see a big difference in taste and is a good alternative.
and as far as the wheat bread. It is hard to find a good whole wheat bread. Make sure you're not just buying the "cheap stuff". I would recommend either ezekiel bread or... I know it sounds wierd but iceberg lettuce cups. Have you ever had lettuce wraps at a chinese restaurant? if so it is the same idea. Put the tuna mixture in a lettuce cup and wrap it and you're good to go. very little carbs. Just an idea.

Hey man, goals are to add a slight bit of mass over a couple of months. Not much tho. Mobility and flexibility are very important. Mainly change body composition. Will be doing 3 hours a night, 4 nights a week combat training / strength conditionning type of workouts.
I used the highest multiplier for my TDEE (1.9) but could of probably used 1.7. And the reason for high carb macros is my extra need for energy (No bodybuilding, more athletic/ explosive strength type of training with daily high intensity cardio).
Thanks for the tip on bread, I will look into it. Values should remain similar with that ezekiel bread right?

Ezekiel bread is flourless it is made up of organic sprouted whole grains. It isn't that processed junk that comes off a conveyor belt. It is highly nutritious too.
if you are looking to add lean body mass and all you are doing is cardio and resistance training and eating 100 cals over your TDEE it will be pretty hard to add on lean muscle.
Good luck Rex!

Well diet and a bit of genetic engineering of course But yeah, 3800 would be on an absolute crazy day of training. Some days I might be more around 3300 for daily maintenance (Off days). So altogether might get 3 or 4 days out of the week with an extra 500 calories.
It should work. As I said I'm just looking for a slight increase in mass.Last edited by ReX357; 09-14-2010 at 11:06 PM.

I agree with tossing the white bread, MMA workouts are grueling and you need complex carbs, to keep that energy up
