tbh the we all have cravings but what ive learnt is if you need to ask whether you can have it 9 times out of ten you cant. Especially packs of haribo

If you can't limit yourself to just a small portion, then don't buy it at all. I have to exercise the same restraint with peanut butter; I planned to eat 1tbsp with my casein shake before bed, but that honestly wound up being like 4tbsp - WAY TOO MUCH. So now I just don't eat peanut butter at all. Instead I eat olive or fish oil - nobody's gonna OD on that!

i like to drink alcohol. so i only buy what I want to drink that night, and no more. my problem is i can control my self easily when sober, but I lose track of how much I drink when not sober.
btw... i drink maybe once a month

No you can't.
And if it's not in your pantry, you can't eat it. That's the solution.
