    shedding bf whilst bulking?????

    hey guys this will probably be a stupid question but i have looked and have not come across a answer so here goes, can you shed body fat whilst trying to bulk?

    Bulk, no. But you can shed bodyfat while slowly adding lean mass. Basically a body recomp. It's a slow process, but breaks you out of the constant bulk/cut/bulk/cut cycle. Once you're in decent shape, this kind of plan will keep you looking good all year round, vs. just in the summer.

    ahh right ok well i need to decide what to do cause i want to get bigger but i want to cut aswell my stats are27yrs old 6ft1 197lbs 15% i am goin to mexico in my 2011 so i want to look as good as i can for then i am planning on a cutting cycle of test prop and winny but i was not going to start that untill feb can i ask what you would do in this situation cheers

    If you cut you will appear bigger imo. I figure it like this : eat at just above maintenance , nice clean diet no crap whatsoever ,and don't forget cardio and you will be pleased with the results.

    yeah cool i have really picked up on my cardio lately doing 20-30 min after workout and then 60-90 min on cardio days but yeah that makes sense what you said so all i need to do is sort a diet out thanks mate

    I agree with this 1000%. Eating just above maintenance (200 calories or so) vs. a typical bulking surplus (at least 500) will ensure you're getting enough nutrition to maintain or even add lean mass, while the cardio takes care of the bodyfat. You won't see results as dramatic as either bulking or cutting will produce, but in the long run you will be better off IMO.

    And yes, like ross said - keep the diet super super clean. Once you have it sorted out, post it up if you want us to have a look at it.

    Hello All,

    i am absolutely new to this forum, even a bit ignorant how to actually use it. So please excuse me incase I do something wrong.

    I am 5 feet 10.5 inches. I use to weight 95 kgs at 35 % bf. I started workingout 16 months back. Slowly and surely I have reached 80 kgs at 20 % BF. I went down to 75 kgs at 17.5 % bf, but then gained some weight back.

    Now I wanna start back in full swing. I wanna reach 10 % BF and aim at being 74 kgs, which means I need to lose 10 Kg fat and gain 4 kg muscle mass.

    I maintain my diet to a level where I am 500 Kcal deficit for 6 days. Eating 200 gms protein though right sources. 150 gms Carbs and 40 gms Fats equally divided in 6 meals.

    I wanna go on cycle. Pills preferably coz I am ''needlephobic''

    Could some1 help me with diet and cycle info. I am absolutely clueless which ones to take and google has confused me all d way more.

    My exercises goes something like this

    Monday: Superset CHEST : TRICEPS 5 sets, 12 Reps
    Tuesday: HIIT 30 minutes + Abs + Lower back
    Wednesday: Superset BACK : BICEPS 5 sets, 12 Reps
    Thursday: HIIT 30 minutes + Abs + Lower back
    Friday: Superset LEGS: SHOULDERS 5 sets, 12 Reps
    Saturday: HIIT 30 minutes + Abs + Lower back

    I am too uneducated to be on this forum or can I really get some help. I am willing to do anything, ANYTHING to get down to the level I mentioned. PLEASE HELP !!!

    Thanks a lot for making me feel a bit more comfortable, coz man I have hit a B***H of a Wall. Cant seem to work my way up to lower the D**M BF man.
    I am unable to make threads for some reason, may coz I am very new to the forum.
