You are what you eat, if you feel the need for these types of foods they shoiuld be limited to no more than once a week and only 1 meal of the day..good luck I know it's hard I can eat.a whole sleeve of chips a hoy cookies with no problem.

If I don't put junk food in my shopping cart then I don't have junk food in the house. If I don't have junk food in the house. I don't eat junk food.
I don't consider burgers to be junk food.
Buy lean ground beef , and whole wheat buns.
Pack on the lettuce, tomatoe, onion.
Leave off the pickles, cheese, ketchup, mayo, mustard etc.

As far as the burgers I think it makes a big difference if they are junk food type burgers or homemade, I love good beef and find it gets more of a bad rap than it deserves due to how we eat it.
I use trimmed top sirloin, I slow cook thoroughly draining all fat then put them on Ezekial bread with just a small amount of mustard or ketchup, lots of protein, some bad fat but not a bunch and most importanly not all the slop and bread like on a resturant burger. These burgers complete work out to about 60gms or protein and 10 grms of fat not ideal but far from the garbage sold in resturants or fast food.
It absolutely amazes me that the average burger you buy either at a fast food resturant or a top notch dine in resturant generally has way more fat than protein often double the amount, many times exceeding 100gms of fat in one burger.

I'm sure they're using 80% lean chop meat. I've been using 93/7 it's a little dry but I just moisten it up with a teaspoon of tomato sauce.

ive been making patties with 97/3 ground turkey and 1 egg white for every lb of turkey. if you want to bind it up a little tighter, you can mix in 1/4 cup of dry oatmeal. ive been making meatloaf the same way, mix in 1.5lbs of ground turkey, 1lb of bell peppers, 3 egg whites, 1/8 cup of spinach and a tad of pepper. side of sweet potatoes and its a frickin meal.
