post your log here in this forum since diet will be the crux of what you are doing IMO
and in this forum you will get help with issues which crop up like dorm food and such
Take a look at this log by Baseline. He is logging in all of his food and workout ....

I'm way, way late to the party but it's good to see a young guy who's so open to constructive criticism.
I'm with Fireguy, Gbrice, and the others in that while you gained a lot of mass, it came at too steep a price. Of course, in six months, given the right diet, you'll be lean again with a lot of muscle to show off. Honestly, you shouldn't feel too bad about picking up the added body fat because frankly, you're young, strong, and it will be gone soon. Just don't let it happen again. Slow/steady as the man himself said, is the way to go.
I haven't said anything new that hasn't already been posted. Just wanted to reinforce.

Lose the fat, post the pics, post your workout routine, specifically with exercises/sets/reps/poundages and cardio. Also I haven't seen the diet yet?

I think Tbody's intention is to see where you're lacking and/or where your form may be suspect based on poundages. For example, when I see a guy benching more than he squats, that's a red flag. Also, when I see a guy who's military press is 155x8, meanwhile he's doing lateral raises with 40 lb. DBs - there's clearly some bad form going on via swinging the weights upward or not going high enough.

My diet has changed somewhat from what's Gucks posted, but the fundamentals are the same. My diet [B]outline[B] may suit you, but realize there are many interchangeable foods for what I am eating. You are by no means stick within that small 'realm'.
