Raw oats vs Cooked oats
Is there a difference in terms of digestion of nutrients between the two?

I'm not positive on this, but I believe raw oats digest just a bit slower. Somebody jump in if this is incorrect as I'm basing this on what seems logical, not facts.

Real men eat raw oats downed with raw egg whites !
But seriously:
Yes raw oats digest slower. Carbohydrates are water-soluble, so they will be able to breakdown slightly before engulfed in bile from your stomach. Is this difference noticeable ? Probably not, but to get a scientific answer you'd probably have to find a research article or ask a Nutritionist.
