    Quick and easy complex carbs.

On days that I work I'm on the go a lot and sometimes it's just not practical or possible to sit down and eat a meal that will get me the complex carbs that I need. I had an idea about mixing in some raw unprocessed wheat flour with protein shakes. I've read through multiple sources that it can be harmful and that it is not harmful and with all the back and forth I'm not sure what to believe. I've done it a few times and it's damn handy and quick. Taste and texture aside it's something that I can definitely keep doing but I don't want any adverse health effects. I'm just curious if anybody had some definite answers on whether or not this would be a good source for some quick complex carbs or a future health nightmare.

    - Raw or Ground Oats are an option. What I do is just structure my diet around my schedule sometimes though. If I have a busy month ill swap oats out for rice and cook a big batch of brown rice sunday evening and portion it out. When I need it then down the hatch cold or microwave - quick and easy.

Oats are my goto carb source, but in a pinch - plain rice cakes, cheerios, wheetabix, shredded wheat (no not frosted lol), ezekiel bread.
