What am I doing wrong (math+recipe)
Made ceasar salad dressing from scratch. Somehow I keep getting 34g of fat per tablespoon of dressing which makes no sense to me.
Here was the recipe:
Macros = Pro/Carb/Fat/Cal
2 Lemons, squeezed @ 0/4/0/12 = 0/8/0/24
1 Lime, squeezed @ 0/2/0/8 = 0/2/0/8
4 Egg Yolks @ 3/1/15/54 = 12/4/20/216
500 mL EVOO @ 0/0/9/80 per 10mL = 0/0/450/4000
1 TBSP Dijon Mustard @ 1/0/2/15 = 1/0/2/15
Handful of fresh blended Garlic
1 Teaspoon of Tobasco
Salt and Pepper
Made 1000 mL of Ceasar Salad Dressing
Now assuming my math is right I got a total macro composition of:
13/14/502/4263 for the entire dressing. If I wanted 1 tablespoon of the litre i divide the macros by 15 no ?
This is what happens when you give university students a 4 month summer

I think divide by 1000 and x by 15 is how i'd do it.. dunno tho.. been outta university for 8 years lol.
13/14/502/4263 = 1000ml
0.013/0.014/0.502/4.263 = 1ml
.195/.21/7.53/63.945 = 15mlLast edited by Swelbow; 08-17-2011 at 10:13 AM.

As soon as I saw ml and tbsp in the same equation, I bailed! =P
Looks like the guys have you sorted anyway. I'll stick to my cups and oz, lol
