Better protein source: meat or protein supplements?

Which is a better source of protein?

i.e. what does your body absorb more and utilize more efficiently?

Meat? - e.g. chicken, fish, beef, etc

    Or

Protein supplements? e.g. shakes, bars, etc

    Ok so it's meat.

Then you mean that meat is absorbed and utilized more for muscle building by the body than protein supplements are?

Amino Acids are amino acids. On a basic level, there's no difference. However for other reasons, whole/natural food is always going to be superior to supplements.

Think about baby formula. The stuff has been around forever, It's still not perfect. Do you know what would be considered perfect? Do you know what they're trying to duplicate? Human breast milk, of course!!!

    Hopefully you're getting my point.
