    stomach issues

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted. Have been doing the diet for only a week and I feel GREAT! I'm not tired in the middle of the day for the first time in years. I've lost 10 lbs (I'm sure a lot of it water weight) and have seen 225 lbs on the scale for the first time in a long time.

One question though, been having occasional diarrhea since starting the diet . Did some research that said it could be related to lower fiber intake. Started taking benefiber and it seems to help but still having it at times. Any thoughts?

Does it happen randomly or consistantly at certain times of the day?

Have you changed your protein powder brand/type?

Is the Glucorell new to your diet?

    Do you reheat your rice?

I do reheat the rice, make it the night before and take it to work

    Seems to be random

Started the Glucorell this Wednesday, but have had the problem since last week

I've also changed the protein powder right around the time I started the benefiber. It did decrease in frequency from this point on, maybe once every other day

Well, the glucorell shouldn't cause an issue, really.

Reheated rice can be really unsettling on the stomach if you don't reheat properly.

Not all protein powders are created equal, anything different on the ingredients label to what you are used to?

Everyone else in the household ok? Changed drinking water ie different source, any other different envirnments, work etc?

Any thing else new to your diet?

Everyone else in the house is ok. I just reheat the rice in a plastic container. Is there a better way?

It's unlikely the rice, just make sure it's piping hot.

I would suspect it's the new protein powder. It probably contains something you have an issue with, dextrose? Creatinine monohydrate?

Alt, drop the glucorell for a week see if it stops. Then reintroduce and, if it starts again, that's likely the problem. Though this is unlikely.
