I dont have a measuring spoon for that. So its kinda pain in the arse. I planned to buy almonds but they are really expensive, are there cheaper alternaltives?

You'll find most people take it from a spoon. A tablespoon in the UK is massive and would contain a load of cals. I take mine from a tea spoon. Essentially it matter not what type of spoon you use. You should know, by weight, what you are allowed. Put thsat amount on a spoon and you know how full that spoon should be in future.
Walnuts, IMO, are the nuts with the most health benefits. I often sub in some sunflower and pumpkin seeds as essential fats.

This will sound crazy, but a lot of the time, I weigh it in grams. Remember that peanut butter is extremely dense. You'd be surprised at how much you're likely over eating if you weighed it. I have used a proper tablespoon, weighed it, and it was still over.
Often, I do the same as Stem and use a teaspoon.

I work in a busy bar where a lot of us are on training diets of one kind or another. Most days from arnd 7pm to 2 am we are WAY too busy to stop and eat anything. We keep a couple jars of pb around the bar and everyone just grabs a teaspoon now and then. Great way to grab som cals quick and easy.

3 tsp = 1tbsp, so 1 tsp of pb is 1/6th of the standard serving size. Easy enough to do the math.
