Any coffee drinkers out there?
Wondering how bad coffee is for you when living the Body Building lifestyle.
I know it has benefits and the nutrition (cals, fat, etc..) isn't bad at all..
So do you guys drink coffee? is it good for you? negative impact?
I've been drinking it regularly the last 2 wks (1-2 cups in the morning) and the only downside I've noticed is that it kills my appetite n makes it much harder to get all meals in.

Seriously??? I think bodybuilders invented coffee. Actually most of us on this board each have personal dieticians, trainers and barista's!

i drink 34oz "bubba keg" of coffee every morning .. i just started bak with sugar free creamer after being on diet for 2 months.. gotta have my coffee man! it helps me too when im hungry.. ill have a big cup of coffee and it keeps me sane.. ive used it to combat cheat cravings as well..

drink coffee and any type of tea pretty much everyday. i may try to cut caffeine out for two weeks and cycle it back in after. i drink it black!

limit to 2 cups in the morning and I used to do liquid flavored fun creamers...but now I use the powder crap cuz it has less calories!
I think there must be a starbucks in heaven and they drink all the specialty lattes with real whipped cream and syrup and sprinkles....

yup- need my coffee and take it black. One in the morning and if im cutting one in the afternoon always helps stop the cravings in my head

i drink between 0 and 2 cups a day. lately, i have not been drinking coffee
the only negative thing I know about coffee and this lifestyle we lead, is that caffiene constricts capillaries, which is the opposite of what you want as a weight lifter.
now, having said that, how much of an impact does it actually have?
...no idea. i suspect it is marginal, though

I'm gonna disagree on this one. Most people will notice less desire to eat when on most stimulants. Ephedrine, Nicotine, caffeine, all of them. Therefore; if coffee has caffeine in it, it suppresses appetite. Correct me if I'm wrong vets
Side note: Mayo clinic recognizes caffeine as an appetite suppresant!
