Cook them just like you would beef. They don't cook at the same rate so keep an eye on them though. As far a bbq goes. It depends on your goals and the brand of bbq sauce. Most bbq sauces I've found have waaayyyy to much sugar for me to put in my diet!

"Devil's Spit" from "Famous Daves" ranks up there as my all time favorite condiment! Too much sugar though.

Luv BBQ sauce but u guys are right- loaded with sugar. Some brands make a rub version I've used- also watch out those can have tons of brown sugar in them too

You've also gotta be careful on serving size as well. I mean who the fvck only uses 2 teaspoons of BBQ Sauce! It's BBQ for christ sake!!!! You gotta POUR that shit on!

and that's why I stay away from it!

I prefer a rub to a sauce for flavoring. I actually have Bison patties several times a year, my good friend raises organic bison right here outside of town. Bison has a substantially lower fat content, so lower temp cooking for longer cooking times. I like my burgers med rare to rare, so it's not an issue for me. Harley's is a good brand people around here use for the rub/sprinkle on seasoning. If you get meat that isn't already formed into patties I'll tell you an even better way to fix 'em.
