DB,
if you focus on your diet and satisfying your macros, and you have room for pork skins (pure fat, highly saturated), then knock yourself out. many on the atkins diet love porkskins.
but saturated fats can bring on some health issues, so either way, I'd say eat them sparingly.

Pork skins are actually a good source of protein, but like Times Roman pointed out, they are also a high source of the fats that we don't want. They also have a lot of sodium, no fiber, and no carbs at all. Times Roman's response a good one, but I personally don't think they have any place in a good diet considering how many other things are available to most of us.

You guys dont know what a pork rind/skin is until you've tried one of my moms!! We cubans are the shyt when it comes to pork!! Is the meat we eat the most, is the most abundant of all as well.
