Types of Protien..
People argue, Casein protien is the best to take before bed
no whey isolate is the best for post workout
no hydrolized whey is the best for this time of the day so on and so forth
I wanna no which protien is best to take, Post workout, Before bed, In the morning to sustain ect and most importantly WHY???
Because to me, Protien is Protien, whether its from red meat or beans, its still Protien
Please tell me what's the difference, when its best to take the following and WHY?????
- Whey protien
- Soy protien
- Hydrolized whey protein
- Whey isolate
- Casein protien

i dont think it matters, though i always try to mix some slow and fast acting protein

for overall purposes, i think isolate is probably the best. but fast acting. very easily assimilated.
before bed, casein makes good sense. metabolizes in 8 hours.

Different amino profiles, and different absorption/assimilation rates. Other than that, protein is protein.
Why not get the best of all worlds? I always prefer a blend, regardless of PWO, bedtime, etc. Whey (multiple variations), casein, egg albumen, whey peptides, etc. I blend ON Pro Complex and ON Casein, and use Myofusion as well.
