Uh oh overdone it on the cottage cheese!
Anyone suggest a cottage cheese alternative,I seem to have developed an allergy everytime I eat it my throat swells up.I like the ease of opening the pot and digging in.

Chicken, turkey, tuna, fish, pork et etc.
Most folk take cc before bed as it tends to be easier to stomach at that time than a steak or such!

I use it as a milk alternative in the blender. Not much for eating it out of the tub either...

I switch between cottage cheese before bed w/peanut butter and celery. Not too crazy about all the sugar but it's fast and easy w/decent protein. Milk to chase.

Any protein sorce other than straight whey and/or egg whites (IMO) is a viable option. Cottage cheese is a popular choice for most because it's tough to get meat down before hitting the pillow.

If you are looking for a slower release protein then go with red meats

I have a tough time with any meat before bed... it's usually when my eyes are shutting already... something about heating up meat and having to chew it etc etc is repugnant to me! Cottage cheese + Myofusion + a tsp of natty chunky PB - perfection!

I use casein rather than a blend at bedtime but enjoy eating the cc and on separately. May try it combined tonight.

Give it a go... I find vanilla to taste much better than chocolate w/ the cottage cheese. If you find that it mixes too thick, add a splash of fat free half and half (if it's available to you) or few tbsp of skim milk.

Yea I cook all my meats the day before and put them in the fridge at work. I just eat them cold . Doesn't bother me.

I think you'll love it. My shake is the ONLY meal that i've been eating for months and months, daily, and still look forward to every day.
Wish I could do it man... if it were something more enjoyable like pulled pork smothered in barbeque sauce or fried chicken, that'd be another story!

i may have to shop around for difft protein.. rite now im using some walmart brand.. its choc peanut butter and tastes great.. like 15bucks so its cheap also.. i only have 2scoops per day.. so ..
