Carb BACK Loading
What's up all?
Anybody have a go at back loading carbs? I've been researching it a little bit, but haven't found much "peer" knowledge on the subject.
I'm interested, but am not sure if I can pull it off, since I don't lift until at least 7PM, and am in bed around 10PM.
Here's one of the (and prob the main) link where I did some reading if you guys would like some basic info - http://articles.elitefts.com/nutriti...-back-loading/
Thanks for any input.

Good read and an interesting concept. I'm interested now. Without a lot of peer review may just have to give it a go for a while and see how it works out.

Agree it is interesting.. It kind of falls in line with the concept of IF in the sense the majority of carbs are consumed later in the day as well as i believe the train of thought behind IF is fat free mass is better preserved when carbs are ingested in the pm..
I suppose since the body is most anabolic a few hrs PWO that could be the time to take advantage of.. Ill be interested to see what others think..
It would and does definitely contradict the notion that meal timing is irrelevant.. And i know there are guys on here that believe meal timing or macro timing doesnt matter.. Im on the fence but lean toward the idea that macro timing does matter..
