    Tips for eating more

I've started my bulking diet and I'm eat every two hours but finding myself never to be hungry, almost gagging trying to stuff more food in my mouth. Any tips on eating more or making it easier to get all my meals in?

Every two hours might be too much for you and frequency varies with body type. I tend to be more of an endomorph and recommended intake is about every three hours. If you are consuming ~800-1000 cals per meal, spacing it out from 2 to 3 hours might make it more digestible for you.

Even at three hours, I sometimes have to force feed myself and resist the urge to gag while eating. Other days it seems I can't eat enough - like I eat and 15 mins later I'm hungry! It's weird to have no appetite one day and the next I feel I can't eat enough!!!!

I wake up every morning at 5 so that won't help and I don't like getting a lot of my calories through shakes. I stick to whole foods. Thought maybe I was having digestion problems.

Alright I will extend the freq to 3 hours I really just did two hours to be convenient to my work schedule. The only meal I eat that's 800 cal is my 1st meal. All the rest are 500-600. Im the same way bro somedays I would eat the paper plate and others I just have no desire to put anything in my stomach. That's why I thought it was digestion issues. Thanks for the input bro

I agree with your own thoughts.

The first thing I would do is to add some probiotic capsules to your diet and also ( taken at least 4 hrs away from the probiotic) some B-complex and if you can add it some injectable B-12 to the regimen. Then eat a little less/ and less often, till you body gets comfy with the schedule then slowly increase amounts of food and frequency. Digestion like anything takes time to change and stuffing your colon full of undigested food will not do you much good.

Definitely stick to clean eating. Consuming shakes to make up for poor nutrition is a terrible idea unless your goal is to gain fat over lean muscle! Lol

Probiotics, digestive enzymes, and psyllium husk may help with digestion but eating becomes as much a habit as it is about clean eating.

Work is a huge interference for me and sometimes I'm in the road a lot. I usually address the problem by preparing all my meals the night before and packing some healthy snack items (nuts, dries fruit, etc.) to be sure I'm getting my necessary nutritional requirements. Making up for missed meals by eating more at one sitting is also a bad idea.

Yeah I eat real clean, I feel like shit if I don't. My job keeps me on the road too. I've been cooking in bulk, prob a weeks worth of meals. Then I take them to work but I can't heat them up so I start choking it all down. That's really what I'm sick of is NOT enjoying my meals and always force feeding. I think the probiotics and enzymes will help a lot and make things easier. Thanks brother

Your suspicion is correct lol. Thanks for the support man! People don't realize how much it helps when people say that. Makes us feel like we are making a difference and our Americans back home are proud.
