White carbs?
Every now and then I see people that have white carbs (white rice, white potatoes) in their diet and I've always understood this TI be a simple carb that would turn into fat quickly. If someone could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it. I've always just eaten oatmeal, sweet potatoes and brown rice and such and thought if I had the simple versions I'd gain fat. I've avoided this cuz with my body type gaining muscle comes easy but fat is even easier. Thanks for any insight!!

It won't make too much difference bro.... Don't sweat it....
If u want white rice go for basmati....
Unless your eating sweets and highly processed carbs then don't worry too much about it.... Just hit ur macros

I don't think there is much wrong with 'white' carbs, theyre just lacking the goodness off the wholegrain stuff. They take away the husks from brown rice to give you white rice and most of the good stuff is in the husks, vitamins and minerals. Similar to the potato skin, full of minerals and vits.

Buttery when I was cutting for my show there was a point I was eating 30 oz of white potatoes a day. You have seen the pics. It didn't affect me.
