stomach help for a women...
I am trying to help out my girlfriend with her lifting and diet but I am having a problem getting rid of her belly pooch...here are some stats as well as I know them ..
46yrs old
5ft 6
121
around 20% bf
lifts 5 days aweek
cardio 4days a week twice a day at 45 min each..
diet sample..morning 4 egg whites,1/4 cup oat meal
every 2 1/2 hrs later 4oz of fish 2oz of sweet potatoe
she drinks about 1 gallon of water a day along with a multi vitamin...
she has been on this diet for about 4 weeks now and has dropped about 4 lbs
my question is ,is there any supplement that will help her lose the extra weight or is she stuck with the belly do to having 2 kids c-section..
I heard hydroxycut will help or extreme maybe anavar ...and suggestions would be great..I have 26 yrs under my belt I can dial my own diet in but never had to for a women before..thxs guysLast edited by harleydog; 10-25-2012 at 07:10 PM.

10-12% bodyfat? That would mean no 'pooch' and almost ready to step on stage.

hey man, glad you found the nutrition section.
see this link vvv and check out the picture of the women and BF%. like stem points out 10-12% in women is extremely low, prob equivalent to 5-6% for men.

the BF% determins how much LBM people have, and this then gives an indication of calorie needs (to a rough figure)

I am comparing her to a mans bf you guys are right ..she has no fat anywhere her arms and legs are very toned just not her stomach..I guess if I had to guess maybe 15-18% bf..for 46 she looks great but isnt happy with the stomachs results...any suggestions?I already know diet,cardio but what else can boost it?

women carry more bf% than men.
you should get some body fat calipers off the net for around $25 that way you know for sure.
A woman can be as high as 25% and still be looking fit.

:hi: and i think it is so sweet that you are helping out your gf! very sweet!!! it is different for gals IMHO becuz we genetically are meant to carry more fat.
Based on your estimated bf% and her stats, one pound a week is significant esp if majority is fat. knowing bf % is so very important so that you can dial in her diet and make sure that she is eating enough food and of the proper macro split.

Ok my two cents.
1) Fat burners are junk. Stay away from them at all costs.
2) Start drinking a gallon a day along with 4-6 cups of green tea. "magic"
3) Carb cycling does alot of good.
4) Do am cardio on a empty stomach.
5) Anavar imo is amazing at removing "truck fat"
6) What kind of weight training does she do?

Even at 14-18 she will be really lean. Is there any chance if a pic of the offending area? It may be as a result of the c section, how long ago were they? Did she have an overly large bump (for her) during her pregnancies?

ok first of all the c section was done 11 yrs ago...after looking at the forum for women I would est 20% bf but yes she still has a pooch..diet is extreamly clean and I do have her doing the stairs for 45 minutes on a empty stomach..she also does cardio with me for 45 min at night..as far as training she trains with me but I have her on the fst7 program..she gets to the gym atleast 5 times a week ..I know fat burners are junk and I do have her drinking 3-4 glasses of green tea,I was thinking about anavar only because nothing else works..

Is it fat, can you pinch it? Is it loose/weak muscles? How is her posture? It's a struggle to figure it out without seeing it.

Mr and Ms HarleyDog...i posted full frontal pics in workout gear with the tummy exposed - no face of course so that the guys could help me. i was reluctant to do it and to my surprise, the male members where extremely respectful. This site welcomes and protects its female members and posting a modest pic can only help.
