How much Tuna do you eat a day?

Been reading all the health scares about murcury poisoning from Tuna.

I eat 3 tins a day and have been for at least a year
2 years prior to this I was eating 2 tins a day

    So what's the deal?
I dont feel any side effects or murcuary poisoning symptoms.

    BUT..................

Just had some bloods done and the docter called me in and told me that my liver enzimes were high.
Could the tuna be a factor?
I never thaught till now. I would be gutted if I have to stop eating it as I love tuna I can eat it streight from the tin.

What would be the alternatives to a cheap high protein food.. I do not like pilchards or salmon or other fish realy apart from the ones from the chip shop. Maybie after all this time my kidneys have a higher tollerance to tuna and what about all the people that live around the Indian Ocean they live off sea food... ?

I wouldn't even worry about the mercury poisoning. They've had that worked out for a while now. My intestines doesn't allow me to eat it everyday anymore but when i do eat it, i eat 2 cans at a time.

Good alternatives are hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, milk, beef jerky.

I don't think tuna has anything to do w/liver enzymes.

Found gills behind my ears last week. Think that means I'm eating too much.

    Hi Tod,
Daily have 1 grilled tuna daily with usually 2 cups of whole wheat pasta and a small salad bowl in dinner. Tuna is great for vision, braein and heart and reduce the risk of major health problems like high blood pressure, cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, certain types of cancer and diabetes. Tuna protects body from free radicals, boost digestive system and helps on weight loss.
