    Does Alcohol...

Does alcohol inhibit testosterone production, lower the testosterone that is already present, or slow down protein synthesis?

Alcohol, being a sedative, will slow down all metabolic processes.

As to test inhibition...not sure but ethanol (alcohol) can induce gyno due to its capacity to mimic estrogen or bind with estrogen receptors.

Thanks. I drank 3 beers last night for new years. Probably not enough to cause any significant problem?

Also the liver processes circulating and excess estrogen so when excess ethanol is present and takes priority for being processed by the liver, the estrogens remain and increase plasma E.

OP don't worry about your 3 beers, hope you enjoyed your new year.
