    When to take taurine?

    So I picked up some taurine as I read a lot of other people saying it helped reduced back pumps/cramps after deadlifting. Probably b/s but it was 10 bucks for a pound so I figured what the hell.

    I was wondering if anyone knew when was recommended to take it in? Currently I am adding it to my pre-workout shake at 5 grams (I teaspoon) and 5 grams post workout.

    not sure if I should just add it to my gatorade/bcaa intra workout mix instead of before or what?

    Any suggestions? (besides throw it out, lol it may be bunk but hey I got a pound and I was like to at least give something new a shot).

    Only time I took taurine(red bull) was when I was on clen , but even then I was drinking 1 sugar free red bull EOD. As far as I know taurine helps regulate your heart beat and Clen depletes your taurine levels in your liver.

    Your spot on taking it pre and post. Those are the best times I've heard, don't see any benefit from adding it intra as well
    Probably wanna post this in the supplements section though

    haha ya I just noticed I didnt. I usually have 4 different forums open in different tabs, accidently put this one in the nutrition forum
