Personally I think the BMI is bull sh!t. You punch in the height and weight of someone who's trained years with super low body fat and it tells you you're obese.

BMI only works on averages. If you're carrying a lot of muscle but not much height then its always going to come up obese.

BMI is not a % value. You simply get a reference number to apply to a chart to determine if you're over or under-weight. And it's in many cases utterly pointless.

BMI (body mass index) is just a correlation between your Height and Weight, it has NOTHING AT ALL to do with bodyfat %.

It is a very crude, simple, tool for men who do not work out to determine if they are under or overweight, taking height into consideration. It ONLY works on the average male, with "normal" musclemass.
IMO BMI is almost completely useless, because it is widely used in an incorrect manner, or as in your case the purpose of BMI is simply missunderstood.

Get your actual BF% checked, either by:

    Doing a BOD POD
Getting measured with Calipers (not so very accurate a lot of the time, esp if you're carrying lots of loose skin)
Posting full body front and back pics, including legs, in the "Member pictures" section, and let the guys here estimate your BF%

That being said, GREAT job on the weightloss mate!
