The difference between micronized creatine and non-micronized creatine is that micronized creatine dissolves better and is also supposed to be absorbed better by cells. I personally like the fact that it dissolves much better and faster when mixed with any fluid and I have also experienced a bit less bloat with the micronized version.
I eat a pound of red meat in 2 days. My weekly consumption of red meat is about 7lbs.
Glutamine is a useless supplement as far as the supplement industry claims are concerned. There is not a single study that has backed up any of these claims; however, this is not the case with Whey, Casein, Creatine Mono and L. Carnitine.
Most pre-workout supplements are also useless to a very large extent. Cheap caffeine pills do the job in my experience.

Interesting you say that Turk. Glutemine was the other main supplement i believe in. It helps recovery so much more with me. BUT when i use it i take it three times a day around 15grams. From what ive read, they say it helps with gh levels. Not sure that is true. I just know it works at thoughs levels for me well.
Guess im weird.Last edited by t-dogg; 01-30-2013 at 10:11 AM.

The delivery mechanism of Glutamine is still unknown to us.
Glutamine is unable to survive the pass through the body, and much of it (some studies show it to be as high as 90%) is absorbed by the intestinal tract as a source of fuel- thus never even making it to the muscle cells.
The supplement industry never really bothered to come up with a proof regarding Glutamine's effectiveness either. It was enough for the marketing teams of these companies to write up to their adds that Glutamine is the most abundant AA in human body and about 50% of the muscle fibers present in the human body are stored in the form of glutamic acid. Thus, if you supplement with glutamine throughout the day, you will aid anabolism in a manner which glutamine supposedly plays an anti-catabolic role here. Nonetheless, this is plain abstract and doesn't suggest any proof regarding whether Glutamine actually does what it promises to do when supplemented.
In addition, many of the foods we eat -like milk, tofu, and meat- supply the body with a source of glutamine, and if it is ever truly lacking, the body is always able to manufacture it’s own. The very same also goes for CLA, only expect for the fact that our bodies can't produce CLA.
I don't think that you are weird regarding the subject matter here. I have used different Glutamine brands in the past and also enjoyed the placebo effect. At the end of the day, quality nutrition and proper rest were doing the magic, I was just not experienced enough to see this obvious fact.Last edited by Turkish Juicer; 01-30-2013 at 02:15 PM.
