    Chipolte's burritos...my favorite meal!

It's my favorite meal hands down.
I realize it's still considered fast food, but its all fresh whole foods, right?
    I usually get:
1 chicken burrito with brown rice ( light on the rice), black beans, got salsa, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole.
So what do ya think? Good or bad?

I just started my spring cut, but while I was 'bulking', I was eating one every Friday, although I opted for the bowl instead of the burrito. I'd get:

chicken + steak or pork + steak (I always ask for double the meat, so I'd get full portions of 2 different meats)
    medium salsa
    brown rice
    peppers and onions
    black beans
    cheese
    sour cream
    lettuce

Now that I'm cutting I won't eat Chipotle, but I guess if you're doing cheat meals, it'd make a GREAT one.

I'm bulking right now. Also running a short burst cycle: test prop 200 mgs. eod.
So you think 1 a day ( burrito that is) is too much?

It's been a while since I've had one of those tasty brick size burritos. You are making me hungry.

Here is your calories and macros for what you listed.

    Calories 1170 P63/C117/F53

Probably be tough to fit that in to your macros especially with the fat that high. Removing the sour cream and cheese would reduce fat by almost 20 grams.

Not the best but there are worst things you can eat.

Gotcha. I'm going to cut out the sour cream and cheese.
I am bulking, but I really don't want to add excess fat.
    Thanks.

If you're fitting it into your macros then it's not too much, but as bikeral pointed out, it's pretty lofty. For a lot of people, that'd be 1/3rd daily calories even while bulking. However, you could easily lower calories/macros with a few small adjustments that won't really affect flavor much:

ditch the burrito in favor of the bowl. You just reduced carbs dramatically.

ditch the sour cream and add your own fat free (assuming you're taking it to go) - you just reduced fats dramatically

Personally I'd ditch the guacamole, but not much you can do to make up for the flavor if you love it that much.

It is nice that they have a nutrition calculator on their website that you can add all your extras and it calculates your totals.

Bear in mind that the media has recently brought to light the fact that fast food companies nutritional info is often times grossly inaccurate... by several hundred calories. So take what you see with a grain of salt.

Definitely, when someone else does the cooking there is no way to know what you are getting. An extra tablespoon of oil can go unnoticed but that adds up fast. That is why I dread eating out when I am cutting. Its impossible to get accurate calories/macros.

I've been eating Chipotle almost every other day for the past month ever since incorporating IIFYM.

    I usually get:

    Burrito
    Steak
Sour cream or add fat free once I get home
Cheese or add reduced fat cheddar cheese once I get home and microwave it
    Lettuce
    Double brown rice
    Black beans

    Delicious

I have very fast metabolism so I get away with eating pretty much anything I want without a difference in body composition compared to when I was dieting extremely strict.

I have eaten chipotle 2x in the past couple months (cutting) and I just found out quite possibly the best "secret menu" item ever.... I may dedicate a whole new thread to this to see if anyone has tried.... The Quesarito from Chipotle.... If you do not know what this is, Google it.... Best. Burrito. Ever.

Get that under control bro! Planning chipotle is one thing. Falling prey to your appetite is something else all together.

Just read your sticky on "lean bulking" very informative.
I'm really going to focus on incorporating that into my current blast.

I love chipotle but my wife doesn't so we usually eat authentic Mexican food. Last summer when I was counting calories I was shocked at how many calories I had in my burrito. I'm starving now since I'm trying to diet and shed some fat before I start my first cycle. At least the OP didn't post a pic of a burrito :-)

Goddamnit....Chipotle is my favorite place to eat + I've been in Japan for 5 years and am about to move back to the states in 2 weeks + I'm on a mega cut........eff you OP

Once I finish this cut (got around 45 days left) I'm eating chipotle once a week for my lean bulk.

Burrito bowl with tortilla on the side

    Brown rice
    Chicken double meat
    Hot salsa
    Pinto beans

And depending on my progress/macros I may choose to add cheese and sour cream. I'll be considering this my cheat meal regardless though....gotta be pretty strict on myself.
