Bodybuilder diet and fats
I know that when guys are taking AAS they want to reduce the LDL fats as much as possible as some types of steroids are known to increase LDLs and decrease HDL, but why wouldn't they make fish a staple, it's packed full of protein and HDL fats? i.e. sardines, salmon, mackerel, albacore tuna, and halibut. I realize that some people simply dislike the taste of fish, but it's a small price to pay if it means your health with be spared while taking AAS. It seems rather obvious to me to simply increase the HDLs but for some reason the main types of foods are chicken, beef, rice and egg whites. Why not oats with protein powder for breakfast and fish fried in olive oil, for example.
Foods like avocado, oats, olive oil, omega 3 fortified eggs, flax seeds and various nuts are also good sources. Apparently Tocotrienol (a type of Vitamin E) is also very effective at lowering LDL.

Where did you get the idea that BBers don't eat fish?
And by "HDL fats", you mean monounsaturated.Last edited by Bonaparte; 09-13-2013 at 08:56 PM.

Well from the diet plans I've examined, like Coleman, Cutler, Heath, they generally eat chicken/rice. Levrone ate a lot of fish in his videos however.

Because you have no idea what you're talking about. Dietary fats do play somewhat of a role in the overall lipid profile but strong androgens like tren directly affect lipid synthesis in the liver. Eating a diet high in omega 3 or other EFA's means jack shit when you've got powerful androgens in your blood.
Youre doing the equivalent of applying basic addition to a logarithm.
You really think you're the first to have thought of this lol?
