Eggs, cooked or raw?
Eggs are one of the best and favorite source of protein,
either whole eggs or the whites,
I always hear people saying that they eat them cooked, in shakes or directly from the shell (raw).
I have eaten them raw myself, they have no taste :P
I did it mainly because of the lack of time, to cook and then eat them.
But is there any benefit in eating them in one way or the other?
Whole eggs or whites?

Good question.
So let me ask another. Have you ever had salmonella? I have, about 2 years ago. It is one nasty disease, is hard to kick, and lasts along time. Not fun.
So, regardless what you saw Sly Stallone do in Rocky, please cook your eggs and avoid getting sick.
Kapeesh?

I've never seen any Rocky film, at least not complete or that part that you mention,
but i get what you say about disease involving uncooked food

Cooked all the way man.
You dont want to risk bacterial infection.
Also depending on how many raw eggs you eat, over time there could be a problem with egg white biotin binding.
