Good stuff.
Now to get rid of all the microwave popcorn we still have (and get the wife to stop buying it).
We have a nice air popper that needs to get more use. Especially since the kids love popcorn for our weekend movie nights (at home).

Great, so I can continue with my eggs fried in coconut oil with a pinch of salt. Washed down with a full fat latte and chocolate covered popcorn for pudding.

Good article. My wife has been cooking with coconut oil for the past months. Half the time she uses EVOO, other times she uses coconut oil. I even had her add shredded coconut to some of my brown rice dishes for extra flavor.
Interesting paper published in the Annals of Pharmacotherapy - Cardiology, February 2012, Volume 46 by Amy Franks, associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences called Comparison of the Effects of Energy Drink Versus Caffeine Supplementation on Indices of 24-Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure which demonstrate that coffee is a far better choice over sugary energy drinks with respect to health benefits.
I think the important take home message on popcorn is to eat it plain. Sure the ones loaded with butter and seasoning taste better, but that would still be in the "bad category" of food. Can't remember the last time I ate popcorn. At least 10 years ago.

They for sure aren't talking about the popcorn from movie theaters. You can feel your artery's blocking with every handful.
Do we even want to start the list of foods they said was good for us that it turns out is bad such as butter vs margarine? Not enough bandwidth I think.
