what should a off season diet look like ?
okay so i dont compete however i do go through a cutting phase each year and a bulking phase, with bulking (which im doing at the moment) should you just be smashing down the cals ? im not on about pizza & chips but good food and the odd bit of crap, just eat & eat & eat & eat ? im natural at the moment so i dont know wether its a waste of time trying to eat say 5000cals a day when i doubt the human body can take that natually right ??

Usually it's 500 calories over TDEE

I am bulking clean at this time, clean by most standards (Probably not by some Pro BB standard) and I must admit it is damn hard to eat that much food when all calories are super clean. You give me burgers, pizza and fries and I'll eat 8k-10k+ calories in a day with ease.
I would never start with more than 250kcal over TDEE myself as I have yet to see anyone here doing that without gaining fat. Now if the only thing that matters is to gain muscle (Kind of like Marcus300 method) then you need to eat basically 24/7. At least reading Marcus300 log he is eating even in the middle of the night.Last edited by tarmyg; 08-14-2014 at 03:58 AM. Reason: spelling

Does anyone know a good link for an off cycle diet? For me I've been following a diet plan written for someone 6 inches taller than me and having completed more than 5 AAS cycles (although I wouldn't consider them to be successfully). I'm currently 5'9" and about 18% body fat. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't have money to visit a nutritionist.

Is what your eating fitting into your macros? If not then your diet needs to change if you want your body to change. Eating crappy food several times a week will never help!
