I'm PISSED, I have to do this.
So just as I was getting into a nice groove; doing my Dorian HIT training, getting stronger by the week, but I took some pics today and I was like EWWWW. Now, I have certainly lost weight and improved from when I first began—since being fat whale on nothing and with zero training from covid lockdowns—but I'm certainly still am over 20% body fat and I think trying to add more muscle right now would just keep me fat.
I have been running 200 cyp / 200 tren e for about a month and was hoping it would help me recomp; I have recomped a bit (like no fat on my legs) and visceral fat has gone down, but still fat with love handles and upper body. I don't think there is anymore recomping staying at maintenance.
I am also taking Ipam/Mod GRF peptide blend, 4x per day, 5 days a week; it may have increased water retention, but I'm not too sure about that since my legs have zero water and its only two weeks on it.
Anyway, would you guys all agree that I should abort the muscle growth phase and start cutting now?Last edited by JuliusPleaser; 02-02-2021 at 05:03 PM.

It’s up to you and what your most pressing goal is. I’m sitting high at 269.8lbs right now just cruising on test with the gyms closed. All I have is 45lb dumbbells to work with at home. I’m not trying to cut just hoping to hold on to as much as I can.
Hoping gyms re-open I was near my all time high in strength in the last 2 months.
Personally I prefer being big and strong over small and lean but obviously prefer large and lean but it’s just not in the cards right now.

The gyms here in New Jersey have been open since Sept, but I got hit with covid in december which knocked me out for a month.
But I think what I'm trying to say is, the tren won't be able to do much more magic than it already has, I think. I don't want to increase it either.
Last time I weighed myself I was like 254; I probably have a good 30-40 lbs to lose. I'd rather look like your avatar lol.

I'm all for getting big and strong.
First and foremost a man should be strong.
Looks are secondary.
That being said...
You won't lose much strength until you get say sub-13% bf. You are 20% plus.
Run another month of 200 test and 200 tren . And cut.
That is what I cut on.
You will look much better 10lbs lighter.
(5lbs of fat and 5lbs of water weight from eating less.)Last edited by The Deadlifting Dog; 02-02-2021 at 06:55 PM.

Well my avatar is a few years old; I was lean in that, but probably was like 12% or so, maybe 15%. I'm CERTANILY more musuclar now, but it's hidden under this whale blubber...I just weighed myself at 254lb. I think I was 215 in my avatar. So the hope is, I cut fat and I'll be 220-225 lean.

Instead of adding cardio now, I'm just gonna "clean up" my diet; small changes that will add up. Last time I got lean I was using My Fitness Pal and was carb cycling, but I don't think counting calories and using apps is a sustainable way to do things long term.
I feel like cardio should be used when fat loss gets harder. Right now I'm so fat, small changes in my food choices should make a difference, as calories will be shaved from this or that thing, i.e, switching from white bread to ezekiel and cutting out junk foods.Last edited by JuliusPleaser; 02-03-2021 at 11:35 AM.

I guarantee you that if you switch to a mostly whole foods diet that you will lean up and keep your strength.
It is impossible to not lose weight unless you're inhaling nuts and washing them down with olive oil.
I eat mostly steak and fruit and vodka. (I do my wife's dinner probably 4 times a week.)
And for 50yrs old I am fairly lean and I have to make sure to eat enough to keep my weight up.
And no... I am not naturally lean like KelKel or BDSM. (bastards)

Ok so I went to the gym, I didn't take my Pre workout pop tart (that's 200 calories right there) and I also didn't have my fruit smoothie PWO. In fact, I'll probably ditch the powder and go right into a whole real meal.
Below are some pics I took just now. I wanted to get my legs in the pics so you can see them—which I didn't shave btw, but there is really no fat on them at all.
So I agree with Deadlift Dog: all I gotta do is clean up the diet, shaving calories from things here and there and I should lose a decent amount of fat while the Test and Tren do their magic.
PS. Forgive my posing; I'm not an actual bodybuilder lol. I'm 5'11, 254lbs as of right now. However, my "fat" is very watery; when I flick it, it waves, so it seems I have a lot of water retention; not sure why since my test is only 200mg per week, perhaps the 400mcg/400mg of Ipam-ModGRF is causing me to hold water?
Again, back is wide and thick, but damn those love handles

weighed myself just now at 248 and I already look a hell of a lot better; certainly lost a ton of water weight which was making me puffy.

246.9 this morning. I may be losing too fast, or maybe this is just a reaction to the change in diet. If its the former, I'm going to lose a ton of muscle and need to eat more calories.

I weighed myself this morning at 243.6lb. I was 254 on Feb 2, so that's about 12lbs in 13 days (I'm sure a ton is water). I'm worried I may be losing too fast, however, my strength is essentially the same, which is a good sign of not losing muscle. Granted, the compound lifts have suffered a bit, but I think that's due to general lower energy in deficit of course, but, isolations are literally the same. If they were to go down, then it would be a sign of losing muscle, I'd say. You guys agree?

LOL. Just did a new PR on Yate's Rows, doing 8 reps with 315 perfect form. I guess I'm good.
