Can't eat old chicken
The most disgusting thing to me is reheating chicken after it has been refrigerated... especially in the microwave. This makes it really hard to meal prep with chicken. It gets this nasty flavor and smell. I know some people don't smell/taste that, but some of us do. Also, I'm not a fan of pork unless it's in a sausage or meatball, and I've never been a big steak guy either. I really don't like fish either.. makes it really hard to get in the protein I need. I do love cultured milk/kefir, which has a decent amount of protein. I got this from my mom, cause she's the same way. My dad is a meat fanatic, on the other hand.
I also can't stand cilantro... I have a real sensitive palate I guess.

I’m with you on reheating in the microwave. That goes for just about anything. Also leftovers are losing their appeal. I like my food freshly prepared these days. I do like fish but chicken and pork are losing ground with me as well, although I do like bacon and ham. But mostly I’m a beef guy, and specifically ribeyes. I like oxtail though because it’s so rich and contains so much gelatin. And I love my sunny side up eggs.
Before going carnivore, I loved cilantro. I’d have eaten that shit on Cheerios. Lol.

Wow...!!! I consider myself fortunate to not have an aversion to reheated (in the micro) food.
The problem I have, for about the last 5-6 yrs, is that I just cannot practice the tried and true adage "you gotta eat big to get big". I just cannot stomach eating 6-7 times a day anymore. I get this real bloated feeling, constantly and uncomfortably full; this is nothing like it was 25 yrs ago (therein lies the truth; nothing is like it was 25 yrs ago, when you are 58 yrs old).
Fortunately for my mental state (as off the charts as it is), I am no longer obsessed with getting big; even when I am cycling.
I'm living here in SE Poland, and everything in this country is pork, pork, pork; beef is available, but the quality in the supermarket falls way short of what you can buy in the States. The prices here for beef are quite a bit higher than the staple pork costs, not to mention the restaurant prices and their skimpy portions of beef which are served. Missing my beef.

Theres come a point in time, if you’re eating chicken for every meal ( I dont) that its best to just throw it in the blender and drink it. Basically like soup, broth…whatever. Reheating the shit just takes forever to chew. Think simple

Yeah if want to look normal do normal shit, if you want to be noticed sometimes well alot of times you have to do some shit that would make an average person gag. I dont go super hard all the time anymore once you get to a certain size level it is easier to maintain than it is to keep growing. But honestly blending is a good way to just get the food down quickly just chug and go pr

Cheese. Tuna fish i can eat every day almost. Drink milk like water 1l a day no problem for me. Better tasting protein powders also with banana taste really good. Minced meat is sonetimes also easier to consune i find, wich is abit like same effect as blending

Plain chicken sucks! Seasoning, seasoning, seasoning or marinade make all the difference especially when reheating. Microwave reheating can be tricky. It starts with the original cooking, only cook to 155* carry over cooking will bring it to about 160* which is good and keeps chix (especially breast) moist. Let chix cool completely, do not cut while still hot, the meat forces out the moisture. As far as reheating, don't just hit 3min and wait, you need to stir and turn 2-3 times during the process even if you have a micro that turns automatically. If you don' stir/flip in order to heat the center you're technically over cooking and making the outside dry/tough. I know, long post and way more than you probably care about.
I have not been around for a while but "odinsotherson" might remember and can tell you I know what Im talking about lolLast edited by lstbred; 10-01-2023 at 01:05 PM.
