Why/How does testosterone cause water retention? If this is happening, what should I do and/or is there anything to prevent it?

i believe that is from the conversion of the testosterone that you are introducing to the body being converted to estrogen and ppl usually use an AI to prevent and eliviate this
example: arimidex , letrozole ....these are a few i'm familiar with...the dex i use and have been since early part of my TRT...the letro i believe eliminates the estro almost altogether and can bring it too low pretty quick...letro would be good to use for quick results and the 'dex would be longer term and possibly preventative
hope this helps

Thanks that does help…I’ll have to talk to the doctor and see about using an AI. Even before I started the test I noticed that sometimes I would be a little bloated (not much, but enough that I can notice on a scale). It does not last long, maybe two days.
I have not had any symptoms of increased estrogen yet, but that does not mean that it has not increased.
