5th week trt

After 7 days off of A-dex my weight had increased almost 8 pounds. Now after 2 doses and 4 days I have dropped almost five of those lb's. Diet was the same. It is really interesting to me how much high E2 effects - I wish I would have tried a-dex only before my trt started. We will see how my test numbers look with a-dex only in a few weeks.

that's alot of water! it doesn't take long for a-dex to do it's job, or not do it.

getting E2 dialed in seems to be a challenge for most of us. it's more difficult for older guys who most likely had E2 problems before starting TRT. understanding the T to E relationship is vital for successful TRT. this is where many doctors fail.

i would have liked to know what my E2 was before i started TRT also but my doc said they never test estrogen in men. i would have been surprised if it was high at the time and i might have benefitted from a-dex by itself. oh well, hind sight...

even with a-dex alone i think i would have had to replace my T. it was dropping quickly over several years.

Update:

Been back on the t for three weeks now. Didn't wait the whole time off and have not retested. Still on Adex .5 eod, but backed off the test to 140/week. I am getting close to being dialed in I think - sex drive is great, pitching a tent in the morning and catching more wood during the day than I have in 20 years. No head aches or other sides.

I was taking too much t at 200/week. I think I'll stay here for as long as I feel this way.

I did the 11,000 units of hcg through ten days - got me through the lack of t I guess - but I won't go off of t again if I can help it.

Update - went back up to 180 the next week and seems like it is keeping me where i need to be. BP is up so this is day three with .5 adex every day. Will do this for a week and back to eod. BP seems to be much better today.

Get this - talked to doc and told him I was feeling like could really tell my t was dropping in days 5-7. Didn't mention BP as I am feeling better also didn't mention that I had dropped the dose. His new protocol for me is:

Day1 - 160mg of t, 500iu HCG
Day4 - 100mg of t, 500iu HCG

Looks like I can stockpile some t with this script.
