new bottle of test had the little plastic thing broke off when I got it now what

broke my bottle and got a new one from the pharmacy but I noticed when I got home that the little plastic flip off safety thing on the bottle was broke off. should I go back and request a new bottle. I do not like taking chances.

Yank a couple of ml's out first then take it back and say wtf I wouldn't do it with aspirin you think I will with something I am injecting!!

Great idea, until they come after YOU for tampering and/or your insurance co cuts you off.

Just take it back, dont mess with it, it's not worth it and dont risk using it for sure.

Not sure about your pharmacy but mine is so busy they could care less so long as i get out of the way.

That is exactly what I did. I left it there in the bag and waited for the lady at the Pharmacy to call me. she was more freaked out about it than me. I brought it into the pharmacy and she swapped it for one with the tab intact. NO WORRIES

i was wondering if maybe the pharmacist had taken the tab off because you had already broken the original bottle ????

all good now though u got a new one...or they placed a tab on the same one??? can that be done? hmmmmm

That tab is part of the crimp so Unless they re-crimped the vial which I highly doubt it.
