bilirubin i believe is liver related...

did you have the same tests done before starting trt and how long have you been on trt and/or that dose

I have been on TRT for 4 months. I had the blood work done on my own at Lab co. I have been doing 100mg of test cyp a week. My blood work prior to trt was all good.

    Can anyone else help out?

A little concerned on the billirubin test. Have you also run some AlT and AST tests to check the enzyme levels. Higher levels of billirubin will cause problems at some point. Sometimes it's a sign of cirrhosis and other liver damage. Could be issues going on with the bile ducts. Question: Are you doing any real drinking and/or various prescriptions that could contribute to being hepatotoxic?? Color changes in the can? Need to run some other tests like hepatitis. Presume your skin is looking OK, color of eyes?

Go by the book with your doc. If there were something I would suggest as a side thought ... Look at some UDCA. Usually readily available at ARR.

My bilirubin was 1.3 before I started TRT and my Dr. wasn't concerned. Not sure what it could be indicative of, but he seems to be on top of his game.

OK have an apt to go see the doc this afternoon!

Vetteman: thanks for your input, No major drinking here and no RX except for antidepressants for the last 8 years. No noticeable color changes in the can unless I eat Kale or beets. Color of skin and eyes are ok too. Had labs done before trt so hopefully enzymes were checked will find out this afternoon.

Just checked the enzymes on the same test that showed the high bilirubin and all were in range.

Thanks for the input will follow up later today.
