1" is considered a bit short for glutes but if you are really low bf you might be able to get away with it. I find 22G too be a bit too much for me, I prefer 25G.

thanks I lwill re order and get the 1.5 pretty chep

Use those 1" pins for delts or quads perhaps.
-
Agree with above. Perfect for delts and quads. if you are new to quads, just do it standing and take all the weight off the leg you are injecting or it will sting. If you are new and not sure of how to inject properly, just ask. You don't want to get any infections or hit a vien.

know how and where to do glutes but not sure about quads any good vidios

I have used 25 gauge 1 inch pins in the delts and you can't even feel it go in it was amazing. It's weird to slowly push it in and watch it as your doing it. I would have made a great Junkie glad I never went that route.

Go to the main page of this site and there is a link for injections on the left. It will tell you all you need to know. I actually only hit quads now. You just want to be clean and aspirate . That's pulling back on the syringe. If you get an air bubble you are good to go. If you pull blood you are in a vein and you need to start over.
-
yea it is hard to aspirate in the ass most of the time I don't do it. but veins are rare there. What happens if you do inject in a vein?

With a little practice you can easily aspirate with one hand. Just put your thumb under the plunger and push it up a bit. Wont take much to see if you get any blood.
I do recall my first self inject I guess I was nervous and nicked the skin when extracting the pin. It bled a little but freaked me out so much I started imagining all kinds of symptoms so I called my doc. His nurse was very patient with me but I could almost hear her rolling her eyes. She said if I hit a vein I would KNOW it as there would be a large bruise-like area around the site from bleeding under the skin. She also said it would not kill me even if I had so stop worrying about it.

BTW, I don't mean to imply that injecting into a vein is ok. You absolutely don't want to do that and you ALWAYS want to aspirate .
-
problem is not so much aspirating but seeing it in the mirrow eyes aint what they use to be.
-
I did it once. I can't aspirate when I do my glutes and I hit one. I felt a little dizzy and then it felt like it was in my lungs. I was on all fours coughing and hacking with snot coming out of my nose for about twenty minutes. I felt like a after school special on TV. I have been doing my quads ever since.
