Anti Aging Clinics might be scamming us

I dont think anti aging clinics know what they are doing. First the put me on 1iu of norditropin. From what I am reading here, that is not going to do anything. Why would they tell me to do this. Secondly I think it is just a way to legal high priced pharma drugs you could ever want or need. Anyone can walk in there and walk out with a whole pharmacy in a brown bag special, including GH, Anabolic and all the other stuff. What do you guys think?

Personally, I hope all the shady clinics get shut down. If a section of that industry ignores laws, it will be harder for everyone with a legitimate need.

keep in mind it is TOP quality gh and could very well be equivalent to double/ triple amount of units of generics...

but I hear ya on the scam part. I agree. And it is a cash cow business and they are laughing all the way to the bank....

Clinics are suppliers, take the innitiative to understand your own health and take charge of it, you're a fool if you let a clinic actually treat you.

This takes education and most people in the general public have no idea what all to take; albeit one would think most who would venture to an AA clinic should know better and have a bit of a different mindset but I know lots of people who think whatever the doc tells them is fine and dandy without questioning them and with the underlying tone of "its a fountain of youth" with potions filled with hope, many people buy into it hook line and sinker....thus CASH CASH CASH

That's exactly how we all feel bro, when I started this journey I was fooled by doctors and clinics alike, now when I post in a thread like this I don't waste words, my hope is that all the newcomers read these things and catch the idea that THEY can be in control and understand some of these things just like a doctor can.......it's the information age, you just have to search out GOOD info. The best place to start is by studying Dr. Crislers papers and get a grasp on what some of his protocols consist of and why. If you let a clinic treat you, you will be so jacked up you'll likely feel terrible and they will be rich. I use a clinic cuz I havent found a good doc but if I used what they prescribed I would be on a full blown cycle forever and it would cost me a grand a month, as it is I use just enough to feel great and it costs me about a hundred a month, if they don't like it I'll drop em like a bad habit and go to the next clinic, its my health and my money.

You have no idea how lucky you are. And the fact that you get what you need from a doctor and they take care of you and for $100 a month. I hope I can to get to this point. I just don't run in the right circles yet but I am learning quickly were to go and what to say and who to talk too.

You misunderstand, I DONT have a good doctor......I've had to learn what I know on this site and from Dr. prescribed protocols along with blood work. I buy what I NEED from a clinic as opposed to what they WANT to sell me.............I NEED about a hundred dollars worth of Test, AI and HCG a month.........they WANT me to use about a thousand bucks worth of product a month.........I just don't play the game, I order what I need and go on with life.

I can get everything on the internet with little to no risk (my shipment gets conviscated at worse), EXCEPT Test. If it were not for the legal script for Test, I probably would abandon my clinic now. I can order the same labs for less online, get the same AI and HCG for less online. I can get better HRT advice online too! I just can't get the Test w/o risking a felony charge. That I'm not willing to do. So for now, I'm stuck with a clinic. I can't say my clinic is bad. I actually like the doc I work with. The doc writes a script and doesn't sell any meds. The doc has good advice; however, the clinic will not work with insurance; and my insurance, like most, won't touch anything that comes from an HRT clinic.

Dont be so hard on the clinics, buyer beware. Scams are everwhere in life, not just at longevity clincs. There are some good ones and some really bad ones! They have their use for those of us that require scripts for work reasons. In addition, they offer monitoring of your levels and other things the newbies cant figure out on day one. Hey, I love this board, but I'm not automaticaly going to put my trust on what I read only. Yes, you can do the research, yes you can find other sources, yes you can save some money. But the quality of the gear from clinics whether is AIS or GH is pharma grade. Buy your pins and PCT online and you will not get scamed so easily. Lastly, nothing beats talking to a real doctor about what your planning, you just have to find the right one. For a newbie to take only the "Clincs & their Docs are Bad" advice...... well like I said, buyer beware.
BTW, no disrespect to the vets on this board that are quite knowledgeable and are very helpful. Just like anything else, there are some really great folks here and.....
