Everything looks good EXCEPT your E2 is though the roof!!!

Are you taking any aromatase inhibitors?

If not, get on one ASAP.

All that test you are taking is converting to E2 causing all kinds of problems that you can read here.

Its strange that E2 is that high as im only on 100mg @ 5-7 days. Im not on a AI at the mo . They are getting in touch with a endo but they say dont worry about E2 at the mo

Typically for each 100 mg of Test = 1 mg AI.

Not surprising at all Devil.

its funny too, that docs are so numbers focused, until you point out "hey THIS number is REALLY high", then all of a sudden they turn into wait-and-see doctors. of course, if your Testosterone numbers get slightly high they sound the alarms and tell you to IMMEDIATELY back off your dosage.

Yes it will, as long as you follow the ratio provided.

You will need new BW in about 6 weeks to see where your E2 levels drops to and adjust accordingly.

Don't be surprised to see your Test serum rise as a result.

You will feel a lot better to boot.

As iv stated on other threads !! the docs do not like me self medicating and refuse to do any more bloods . So i have no option with the E2 results that high, than stop the TRT and PCT it . She said today that she will speak to the endo but will not hear anything for weeks if not months . The UK sucks lol So im thinking i better be safe than sorry even tho i feel 100% better than i did.

You need to lower your E2...I don't know what more I can say. If you can't get BW then play it by how you feel. But you need it man...

Just remember, high E2 causes all kinds of very bad things like down-regulation of your androgen receptors which will make your test ineffective as there will be less of these recpetors to make test work for you.

Also, high E2 causes Hypothyroidism...not good at all.

Start at 1 mg per 100 mg of test and try to spread it out like two or three times per week.

DevilDog, are you still going to continue self TRT? if so then follow GD's advise regarding AI, i would suggest to do .5 mgs AI everyday for one week just to get your E2 down to normal then do .5 mgs twice a week or per ratio as GD noted!

Yes going to continue untill i get to see what the endo says . If all goes well it looks like i might get prescribed..Fingers crossed anyway.

Good luck, hope you get it sorted out with the endo, sounds like a bit of a pain to deal with over there. Keep working on them and hopefully they'll take care of you, if not at least you know what to do on your own.

Well the E2 monster seems to be getting me now . Im now going to hold out on test shots till my AI arrives . I did think i was happening a bit but just put it to the back of my mind. Shame as i was doing really well .

Should be a week hopefully..Lost all sex drive and feel knackered.. The spark has left the building. Surly taking any dose of T while E2 is high would aggravate it more . Just my thought .

i heard eating white head mushrooms lowers E2! you may want to try that for now until you get AI. BTW, once you get AI start injecting! start with 1 mg AI right a way, then 1/2 mg everyday for one week then incorporate the 1 mg per 100 mgs test schedule. let us know how everything goes.

I'm using 1mg tabs and splitting them but they sure as hell don't split well, no matter how hard I try. I'm off to the compounding pharmacy for my next batch. Insurance covers it but I was curious about the price so I called them. It's way cheaper compounded. Just have to submit to ins on my own.

Kel.....do you use a pill splitter? I split pills with a knife before, what a disaster, got the splitter and it was a breeze. I use capsulated AI anyways, it's much simpler.

Well i dont know if its in my mind !! But took 1mg yesterday and by night time i was horny as fvck and the mrs knew it. Feel good with morning wood again. Im not sure how long it takes to take effect but seems quick to me. Or maybe cuz my E2 was really high it made the diff quicker .

Depending upon your metabolism; half life of an AI is roughly the same as Test...about 72 hours. So, it may have been a bit of both; lower E2 and the fact that you know you're doing something about your high E2. Keep an eye on lower E2 and Test levels as it will increase when you inhibit aromatization.

Correct bass, the primary pathway for E2 production is through the conversion of test by the aromatase enzyme. The aromatase enzyme binds to test and chemically converts it to E2. AI's like anastrozole bind to the aromatase enzyme and prevents it from converting to E2. To your point, they do not work directly on estradiol nor on estrogen receptors.

It does lower E2 but not directly effecting E2. AI's binds to aromatase enzymes essentially making them in active. Once the enzyme is in active it cant' bind to the receptors on Test and thus can't convert it to E2.

LOL! well your body will use up the current E2 while your AI is blocking the conversion, once you get to normal level then ease off on AI intake and let your body convert just enough to be in range.
