Test pellet
I've tried searching for a thread about the test pellet, but don't find anything. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about these? I have an appt coming up and the place I am going seems to like to use these. Any info here?

I can give you a little information on how they worked for me. The first time I had 10 Testopel Pellets implanted I had a total T level of 602 at the two month mark. By the forth month my total T was only 357. To make a long story short I felt horrible the last two months of the 4 month cycle. On my second go around the Dr. Implanted 12 Pellets and my levels were 702 at the two month mark. The first month of the second cycle I felt great and the second month I felt good. I'm going in to the third month and am already starting to feel a drop off. Plus this last round of implants left a nice bit of scare tissue build up under the skin. In about two months I'm going to switch to shots. Good luck.

I just finished reading the paper by Dr Crisler online (it's titled "my best current thoughts on how to administer trt for men" if you want to google it) and he didn't have anything positive to say about the pellets.

Awesome! Thanks everyone! I had no intention of taking the pellets, but didn't want to rule anything out without knowing a little beforehand. I am hoping this place is willing to do shots in place of the pellets. Thanks again!

pellets do not metabolize evenly, resulting in dynamic blood serum levels.
if you want something to last a few months, PM marcus and could tell you abouut Nebido. Nebido lasts a couple of months between injections.

Unfortunately I am a new member and can't PM until 100 posts?
Aside from the pellets, which I will not use, this place also offers a cream. I asked if they did injections and they said "no, it can cause too many health issues". lol
Anything good about the cream? I've already considered cancelling my appt to save money up for a trip to another Dr's office in the future.

Yeah, the guy on the phone said injecting can cause high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, and other health issues. I just said, ok.

Thanks, l2elapse. I don't plan to, but unfortunately I will have to find another doc. The office that I have an appt with doesn't sound that great as noted above. No shots. Only cream and pellets.
