Could I get advice on upcoming BW?
Sunday was my sixth injection, so I plan to have blood drawn next Monday. That'll be six weeks for me.
PrivateMDabs.com has this test for ~$170
Hormone Panel for Males
The Hormone Panel for Males contains the following tests:
- Lipid Profile
-Complete Blood Count w/ Differential
-Estradiol, Sensitive
-Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1)
-Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
-Testosterone (Free) , Serum (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration) With Total Testosterone
-Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)
-Thyroid Profile
Is the Free Test enough, or should I spend the $90 and get the Free and Weakly Bound test done? Is the FSH/LH test worth doing? I didn't have the FSH/LH tested prior to treatment, so I have nothing to compare the results to.

imo,
the panel you are having is plenty and A GREAT DEAL... i recently saw that and am going to do the same when i can and as often as i can
lh/fsh while on trt is not needed...those will show very low as they have been shut down due to your TRT

I too am looking at that panel.
Like JP said, forget LH/FSH. They are low and you don't need a test to tell you that.
Stick with this panel. If everything comes back good then you are done. If you have issues -- good Total T but low Free T -- then you may want to expand and include other items such as SHBG, etc.
The only thing I would add for me is progesterone/prolactin. I am subject to gyno even at low E2 levels, and have always wondered if my progesterone/prolactin are high and making gyno prevelant at lower E2 levels. If you don't have any gyno issues, or puffy nipple syndrom, then ignore this paragraph.

If it were me I'd want to see Cortisol and SHBG as well.

Checkout their Ultimate Male Hormone package. I don't think it has cortisol or prolactin, but it has just about everything else. It's a little pricier, but the extra discount might help pursuede you to upgrade. Let us know how you makeout.
