Hi all new to this site. Started getting 300 mg of cyp every two weeks from my Dr. Levels come back just below 600 so I decided to shoot myself on the off weeks with 125mg of cyp because I was not happy with my levels and doctor would not do every week. I have two questions. One is it ok to give myself that extra 125mg on my off weeks and the other should I be using a different TEST on the off weeks so I don't have so much water weight? Thanks in advance for your input

Personally I would stick with the scripted dose.

300mg/14 days = 21mg day x 5 = 105mg

Take 105mg once every 5 days it's the same as 300mg every 2 weeks. You will have much more stable blood levels and be a LOT happier and your levels on the 5th day every 5 days will be much higher.

Did he script an AI? What was e2?

yea whats your complete protocol? if you have blood work post it here with ranges. your doc gave you a goos size does, if i were you i'd split that to 75 mgs twice a week, much more stable and less spikes/valley!

Not sure what the script is. I go to his office every two weeks for the shot. He will not just give me a script so I can inject myself. My off weeks I have to get from another source. I have been on this regimen for 6 months and just thought I would see better gains. Don't get me wrong i feel better and sex drive is great but thought I would see more muscle gain. Also Dr does not show me my blood results so I do not know exactly what they read

Ask him if he will split the dose in half and go in weekly and then find a new doc... I bet you would be surprised at your levels if got down to weekly injections.

You have a right to get those test results, ask nicely the first time but demand it if you need to. Post up the test results here and you will receive more detailed advice.

What's his issue with you self injecting? If you were diabetic would he make you come 3 times a day for your slin shot? If you were on oxy for pain would he make you stop by for the pain pill?? You might try to reason with him: it's expensive to visit, a hassle, it's not like you'll cheat and take extra because they would know when you asked for a refill early.

It fries my ass when I see a "Physician" prescribing who does not understand the half life of the drug

OP - You need to have your Doctor understand that Testosterone has a half life of maybe 72 hours or less. That means in about 3 days from the initial injection you peak and thereafter Testosterone levels will begin to suppress. Do the math and see where are you in about 10 days. You need to explain this to your Doctor if for no other reason that he doesn't hurt other men.

Any discussion re hCG or AI if needed? My guess...NO!

I asked him at the beginning because its a hour ride and I sit in the waiting room for 40 min. Took me a while to find a Dr who would even put me on treatment. Other Dr's told me TEST levels of 300 wasn't bad for 39 years old. I can get Cyp from people I know but I would much rather do it under a Dr supervision

Let me ask again: Anything on hCG to manage HPTA suppression and controling E2 with an AI?

I am out in Port Jeff. DR is nice guy but says he has to be careful how much he prescribes. He is a Urologist and giving hormone therapy is a very small part of his practive. I am sure he does not make much money off my once every other week visit lol

Pugs, 300 EOW is not a bad dose. Yes, needs to be broken down to EW, but still a fair amount of Tes. I would (personally) be much mor econcerned with AI and HcG at this point. Yes, find a new Dr or clinic and post ALL your BW, these guys can be of much more help that way.
